EasyJet has awarded Honeywell a $51 million, 10-year auxiliary power unit and extended maintenance contract covering its Airbus A320-family aircraft.
Under the deal, Honeywell will provide its 131-9A auxiliary power units and related maintenance services for the 180 Airbus aircraft operated by Airbus today and for the 53 aircraft scheduled to be delivered by 2013.
Repairs will be carried out in Raunheim, Germany.
