Garuda Indonesia has signed an agreement with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) to lease six Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The first three aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in June, September and October 2013, while the remaining three will be delivered in the same months of the following year.
The leasing agreement also includes three CFM International CFM56-7B engines.
Earlier this month, Garuda and RBS Aviation Capital signed operating lease agreements for four 737-800s.
Garuda plans to increase its fleet to 153 aircraft by 2015 to include Airbus A330s, Boeing 777-300ERs and 737-800s.
