Comlux USA and E-A-R Thermal Acoustic Systems partnered to create a new noise control system for VVIP Interior Comfort for the new Comlux A320 aircraft.
The partnership achieved noise levels in the VIP areas of the aircraft of 49dB without the significant weight penalties typically associated with achieving these noise levels, said E-A-R in a statement.
E-A-R designed, developed and delivered the Thermal Acoustic System, and, provided testing and engineering support for the development of a new cabin riser system.
