Aviation decorative plating specialist HighTech Finishing has expanded its facility with the addition of 15 tanks, which will allow it to provide plating for plastic.
HighTech marketing vice president Rick Niefield said: "Many aviation manufacturers are employing new methods to decrease aircraft weight and using plastic can be one of the options."
Niefield added: "With our recent processing line expansion, HighTech can now plate virtually all interior items made of plastic."
