Bulwell Precision Engineers has invested in machining and equipment as it prepares to execute a contract to manufacture actuation equipment based on complex valve blocks.
The UK-based specialist, part of the Nasmyth Group, has acquired a Matsuura 5-axis "prismatic" MAM72-35V milling machine, a G-TECH 30i Controller and computer numerically controlled measuring equipment.
It is assembling a manufacturing cell geared towards complex valve block and other complex prismatic and close-tolerance assemblies.
The new components require extremely close-tolerance bores, hard anodising of those bores and completely blemish-free surfaces.
