Korean Air has tentatively signed for up to 30 Bombardier CSeries twinjets, the deal for the flag-carrier giving the programme a further lift at the Paris air show.
Its agreement is for 10 CS300 aircraft, with options on another 10 and purchase rights for 10 more.
The aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1000G geared turbofans.
Korean Air's letter of intent is the latest in a string of agreements for the aircraft that have helped to ease uncertainty over prospects for the programme.
