Polymer components manufacturer Saint-Gobain Performance Plasticsis displaying Meldin 7000, a lightweight high-temperature solution for aerospace finished parts, at the le Bourget exhibition centre.
Meldin 7000 provides finished parts that are 50% lighter than aluminium, which reduces total systems weight, while decreasing fuel consumption without sacrificing quality or safety, said Saint-Gobain.
In addition, the company will unveil its customer support strategy, which offers direct access to its design and material testing resources and co-engineering capabilities, as well as machining expertise, providing complete powder-to-parts process control.
