TE Connectivity, provider of engineered electronic components, connectors and network services, will showcase its advanced power load management system (APLMS) at the Paris air show.
The technology has been developed by combining software and embedded micro controllers to "answer the rising need of small aircraft for automated power via data bus communication and control", said TE.
The system is able to make decisions and can reconfigure the electrical system to restore power in the event of a failure or wiring faults. It can also monitor a variety of power qualities and execute load shedding and fault isolation functions, said TE.
