Middle Eastern carrier Qatar Airways is to increase capacity on its Copenhagen and Barcelona routes from 27 March.

The Doha-based airline says it will upgrade its daily Barcelona service to an Airbus A330 aircraft. It will also increase frequencies on its Copenhagen service to one flight daily.

In addition, it plans to begin flights to the Romanian capital Bucharest (17 January), the capital city of Hungary, Budapest (17 January), Belgium's capital Brussels (31 January 31), and the German car manufacturing centre of Stuttgart (6 March).

Qatar Airways will also launch its second Syrian route to the city of Aleppo on 6 April.
