Air China has signed a range of agreements with Honeywell Aerospace covering avionics as well as wheels and brakes.
Honeywell will supply the avionics suite for the 19 new Boeing 777-300ERs the carrier has on order.
The Honeywell avionics suite includes an advanced IntuVue 3-D weather radar. The agreement also includes a traffic collision avoidance system with Mode S transponders, SATCOM capability using SwiftBroadband as well as flight data recorders and cockpit voice recorders.
Air China has also selected Honeywell to provide wheels and steel brakes for its purchase and lease of Boeing 737NG aircraft over the next 10 years.
