Hawker Pacific has inaugurated its new aviation sales and customer service centre at Seletar Aerospace Park.
The Singapore dollar ($S) 18 million ($14.3 million) facility was developed and funded by Hawker Pacific.
The new 9,400sqm (101,000 sq ft) service centre offers sales, management and support offices, a heavy maintenance jet service centre, spares distribution, VIP reception, customer and crew lounges and dedicated undercover jet parking.
A new spray paint booth will be commissioned in March 2012 and will have the capability for repaint and re-completions for aircraft including large, long range jets.
Transition to the new venue was completed in two weeks.
The facility has gained all main regulatory approvals and more than 100 staff will operate the authorised service centre, aircraft sales, private jet parking, aircraft management and fixed-based operator (FBO) activities.
