JetGo Australia has leased one ERJ 135 aircraft from ECC Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Embraer.
The delivery of the 37-seat jet is scheduled for the end of February.
JetGo intends to deploy the aircraft from cities on Australia's eastern seaboard to airfields located near natural resource centres and mine sites.
The company has acquired the aircraft to tap into the growing demand for contract services to transport workers who fly in and fly out (FIFO) of non-commercial airports, the carrier said.
