Singapore Airlines (SIA) has selected Rockwell Collins' avionics package for up to 15 new Airbus A330s.
The Rockwell Collins avionics package includes the WXR-2100 MultiScan threat detection system and GLU-925 multi-mode receiver (MMR).
Deliveries of new aircraft are expected to begin in 2013.
In addition, SIA has also selected the Rockwell Collins avionics' ADF-900 automatic direction finder, DME-900 distance measuring equipment, HFS-900D high speed data radio, LRA-2100 low-range radio altimeter, SAT-906 SATCOM, VHF-2100 very high frequency transceiver and VOR-900 VHF omnidirectional radio.
