StandardAero has signed a service agreement with Russian regional carrier Ak Bars Aero.
The contract covers the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the carrier's General Electric CF34-3B1 engines and Honeywell GTCP36-150RJ auxiliary power units (APUs), said StandardAero.
The engines and APUs power Ak Bars Aero's fleet of Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. The agreement was signed in July.
Work on the engines will be performed at StandardAero's CF34 engine facility in Winnipeg, Canada, while the APU MRO will be conducted at the company's Maryville, Tennessee location.
